Five Stars for Heather and Her Team – True Angels on Kauai!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the incredible care my dad’s Great Dane, Nani, has received from Heather and her amazing team. From the moment she started staying with them, it was clear she wasn’t just being watched—she was being loved.

Nani has absolutely thrived under their care. She comes back from every stay clean, happy, and beautifully groomed! The teams grooming services alone are top-notch, but what really sets Heather and her tea apart is how much fun she has and how deeply cared for she is.

Every time I get updates (which are regular and so appreciated!), I see photos of Nani playing joyfully with other dogs, lounging in the sunshine, or soaking up the affection from the team. She’s clearly having the time of her life. Knowing she’s in such a nurturing, safe, and loving environment brings me and my dad so much peace of mind.

Heather and her team treat Nani like one of their own, and their genuine love for the animals in their care shines through in everything they do. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them. If you want your dog to be truly cared for and cherished while you’re away, this is the place!

But from the first meeting with Heather, Eternity and Gabe, and their family menagerie, our little boy Zeke knew he’d found his home away from home. Whether scheduled months in advance, or in response to a frantic SOS call asking for emergency help, Zeke has always been welcomed with open arms.
The peace of mind and assurance that this wonderful Ohana provide to us is absolutely priceless. Literally could not manage our family without them!

Heather and everyone at Kauai Pet has been incredible. Our long haired dachshund is incredibly anxious with new people and animals and they made him feel like he was at a second home. We got pictures everyday of him smiling and making new friends. He was very well cared for and we will 100% use their boarding services again!

My two dogs, an Aussie & Lab, had an amazing time while they were boarded with them for 10 days!! They got to play with all of the other dogs, we received daily updates and report cards, and reassurance whenever we needed it! They are the best!! Shoutout to Tanis especially!! Great prices, communication, boarding, grooming, and team.

Heather is awesome! My dog buddy is a rescue dog that is very shy and usually scared to go to strangers. Heather did an amazing job on making him feel safe! He was so happy and looked amazing after his grooming session.

It’s a safe haven where dogs can run, play, and socialize to their heart’s content in a safe pastoral environment that lets dogs be dogs. They offer grooming that leaves pups looking fabulous, as well as effective training, which is incredibly important to me with my young and energetic Aussie. Every time my Blue comes home, she’s beaming with joy.

I brought my 10 year old aussie for a nail trim and groom. He sorta lets me do some trimming/grooming at home but really needed a good summer ready groom. Nails were quick and easy – nice and clean, have lasted longer than when i have done them. I was unsure about a groom – aussie i have always been told not to cut. Heʻs a constant beach/salt/dirty aussie with some skirt dreads despite daily brushings and baths.

He came out of his summer groom appt a big fluffball. Pulling loose hair off him all day. Once it all settled and since his grooming his coat has been so much easier to deal with. He seems much cooler and heʻs so much easier to brush and keep under control

So glad i got all his ʻextrasʻ taken care of. Groomers didnt cut just cleaned him up.

Aloha, my name is Juan Ramirez and I like to share my experience with bringing my dog Finn to Kauai Pet Sitting and grooming, I met with Emily and she showed me the facility. The place is clean and safe. She gave me the option if I would like to have Finn with other dogs or by himself. We partnered him with her dog Biscuit and they immediately started to play. As I’m on vacation she kept me informed with videos and photos and it gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Emily and Biscuit.

We had the pleasure of meeting Heather of
Kauai Pet Sitting and Grooming in June.
We were looking for a pet sitter to care for our female GSD.Duchess our German Shepherd spends 1 day week with Heather and on several occasions Duchess has spent a week at Kauai Pet Sitting. Heather’s staff is awesome!, there is a genuine love that they show our Duchess. The wonderful thing about having our GSD at Kauai Pet Sitting is the ability for the her to run around with the other dogs that are there. There is a gazebo in the play area where the dogs can relax without the need to be put in a kennel. The dogs are free to run and play all day!. A staff member is always in the playground area to play with the dogs. Another great part of having our GSD at Kauai Pet Sitting and Grooming is we can request a grooming session before we pick Duchess up.

Thank you Heather for taking care of our sweet Luka Boy! Always kept in contact, catered to his every need without hesitation, and sent photos everyday! I had my Chihuahua boarded at Kauai Pet Sitting. We went to the mainland and unexpectedly came down with Covid. Heather and her assistants were incredible. We had to extend our stay. She was very accommodating and understanding and when he started to board there she picked him up at our home and dropped him off at the end of his stay as well. I got sent several pictures a day of my Mijo and he always looked happy and part of the family. He even came back with obvious improvements in housebreaking. He was a rescue, and although he was adult, he apparently had not been potty trained. They took him on walks everyday. The facility was safe and comfortable and he had a puppy, Romeo, that he happily and vigorously played with every day he was there. Heather had great suggestions about his care and shared her observations about his behavior, which was very helpful for me. Clearly she has a lot of experience in the care of animals. I would not consider any other boarder. Heather is the best and I have boarded several dogs. I could tell that she loved my Mijo like he was her own.
